If an individual Clean Water Act Permit is required, approximately 200 Federal and State Agencies, Tribes and people (adjoining land owners, post master, county judge,etc.) will be notified by public notice to respond to your proposed work.  Osment Environmental Consulting obtains the information these agencies need in the format they need it to provide the most timely response to your proposed work.  The public notice identifies your proposed construction project, mitigation, and purpose.  Mitigation shows that you have considered alternative plans to avoid impacts to the environment and that your proposed work will have minimal adverse effect to the environment's ability to promote clean water.  

NOTE:  Some proposed works will require a Nationwide Permit which will not involve a public notice.  Osment Environmental Consulting, LLC will provide you with all your options.
